The Camp Harkness Foundation was awarded a $500 grant from the Connecticut Horticultural Society in the summer of 2024 to pursue the development of our butterfly education program and the construction of the Butterfly Enclosure.

Beginning in 2024, John Melmed has volunteered his time to annual events as a storyteller. With decades of experience performing as an award-winning storyteller, we are grateful for his contributions.

Year after year, Camp Harkness has received volunteer efforts from the team at Keller Williams during their annual day of volunteerism: Red Day. We are grateful for their efforts and for returning each year.
